Nederlands: Familieportret van Aernout van Beeftingh met zijn eerste vrouw Jacoba Maria Boon en hun kinderen in een interieur. De moeder zit met de jongste zoon Nicolaas Marinus op schoot. Voor haar ligt op de grond Jozua, op één arm leunend en met een zweep in de hand. Aernout van Beeftingh zit aan een ronde tafel met een prent in de hand. Nicolaas loopt rechts met een portefeuille naar een geopende kunstkast, Pieter zit met een valhoedje op in een kinderstoel.
