Description
English: Greetings from San Simeon, California!
  • The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary celebrated 15 years with an Ocean's Fair at the Coastal Discovery Center at San Simeon Bay in northwestern San Luis Obispo County, on the Central Coast of California.
  • The staff, volunteers and exhibitors who organized the Ocean's Fair are pictured here.
  • Exhibitors at the event included the National Weather Service, NOAA's Office for Law Enforcement and many others. Along with making fish prints and models of ROV's (remotely operated vehicles), visitors also enjoyed the center's educational exhibits.
  • The Coastal Discovery Center at San Simeon Bay is cooperatively managed by the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary and California State Parks.
