Description
Deutsch: Briefsortierzentrum, früher Gleishalle des Paketpostamtes, 1965-69 nach Plänen der Oberpostdirektion München durch Rudolf Rosenfeld und Herbert Zettel zusammen mit Ulrich Finsterwalder und Helmut Bomhard zum witterungsunabhängigen Be- und Entladen der Bahnpostwagen errichtet und verkehrstechnisch über 15 Gleise direkt an die Bahn angeschlossen; freitragende Halle von 124 Metern Länge, deren gefaltetes, aus 1600 Betonfertigteilen zusammengesetztes Flächentragwerk sich in einem 148 Meter weiten Bogen über 15 Bahnsteige spannt, beiderseits durch eine raumhohe Glaswand abgeschlossen; zur Zeit der Ausführung die weitestgespannte Halle der Welt aus Fertigteilen.
