Die Pouva Start war eine der erfolgreichsten, wenn nicht die erfolgreichste Kamera der DDR. Von 1951 bis 1972 sollen über 1,7 Mio. Stück hergestellt worden sein! Produzent war die Karl Pouva KG, Freital, 1972 verstaatlicht. Die Pouva Start war eine einfache, aber gut gestylte Kunststoff-Rollfilm-Kamera, mit einer Moment-Zeit und B, dazu 2 Blenden (Sonne und Wolken). Die ersten Modelle hatten einen Klappsucher, die späteren (wie meine) einen Durchsichtssucher. Das Objektiv war ein Duplar 1:8 und wurde zum Gebrauch herausgezogen. Der Preis von 16,50 Mark trug auch dazu bei, dass es die Kamera für die Jugend wurde. Es gab Exportmodelle und Lizenzproduktionen, z. B. in Indien und Polen. Die westdeutsche Firma HAMA hatte großen Erfolg mit ihren Lizenz-Produkten Hexi, Moni, P56. |
