| Description |
English: Powdermill Stream The stream forms the small valley on whose slopes the village of Crowhurst is built. As its name suggests this fast flowing Wealden stream powered a number of gunpowder mills in the district from the 17th to 19th centuries. The stream has its spring north of Catsfield and runs into Coombe Haven where it joins the straightened Watermill Stream. Taken from the rear of an old garage with a metal bridge that provides private access to a local yard. |
