Description
English: Pratibhadra is a type of upapitha described in Hindu shilpasastra / vastusastra texts on architecture. See, e.g., chapter 13 of Mayamata and section 13.24 of Mansara. They are recommended in certain geometric ratios for aesthetics and function. They are found in Hindu and Jain temples.
