Summary edit

Description
English: A view of the Precambrian-Cambrian nonconformity along Manitou Avenue (U.S. Route 24 Business) in Manitou Springs, Colorado. The pink-colored rocks just above the road level are Pikes Peak granite. The light-colored sandstone above the granite is Sawatch sandstone. Between the two, about five hundred million years' worth of rock is missing. The darker rocks at the top are part of the Peerless formation.
