| Description |
English: Presbyterian church, The Spa near Ballynahinch. See 87699. During the 19th century it was fashionable to "take the waters" at the nearby spa. The Presbyterian church was the gift of one Robert McQuiston (he was, it appears, a wealthy merchant from Belfast) for use by visitors. It was designed by Young and McKenzie and dedicated in 1872. This is the side view. |
