Description
English: Marines from 2nd Law Enforcement Battalion, II Marine Expeditionary Force, in coordination with the Camp Lejeune Provost Marshall’s Office, began a Mobile Prescription Drug Take Back Program July 21, 2014 aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C. The purpose of the program is to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of anonymously disposing any unneeded, expired, or unwanted prescription drugs. Marines with 2nd LE Bn. set up a red drop-box outside barracks and work areas around Camp Lejeune, where Marines, sailors and civilians could conveniently dispose of prescription drugs. A permanent drug drop-box, where Marines and other Camp Lejeune personnel can properly dispose of expired or unneeded medication, is located at the PMO aboard Camp Lejeune.
