Summary edit
DescriptionPreserved bus at Ingrow West - geograph.org.uk - 1650800.jpg |
English: Preserved bus at Ingrow West A preserved single-decker, formerly of Burnley, Colne and Nelson Transport, at Ingrow West station. This bus, No 41, was one of eight Leyland PS2 39-seat rear-entrance vehicles supplied to the BCN Joint Committee. Between 1957 and 1959, it was converted to front-entrance configuration for use as a one-man operated bus. Inherited by Burnley and Pendle Transport in 1974, most of the class, including No 41, were quickly withdrawn, but apparently all went for preservation. |
