English: President Barack Obama views the Emancipation Proclamation with a small group of African American seniors, their grandchildren and some children from the Washington, D.C. area, in the Oval Office, Jan. 18, 2010. This copy of the Emancipation Proclamation, which is on loan from the Smithsonian Museum of American History, was hung on the wall of the Oval Office today and will be exhibited for six months, before being moved to the Lincoln Bedroom where the original Proclamation was signed by Abraham Lincoln on Jan. 1, 1863. Français : Le président Barack Obama regarde la Proclamation d'émancipation avec un petit groupe d'Afro-américains agés, de leur petits-enfants et de quelques enfants de Washington D.C. dans le bureau ovale, 18 janvier 2010. Cette copie de la proclamation d'émancipation qui est un prêt du Musée Smithsonian d'Histoire américaine, a été accrochée au mur du bureau ovale ce jour et sera exposée pendant 6 mois avant d'être déplacée dans la chambre de Lincoln où a été signée la proclamation originale par Abraham Lincoln le 1er janvier 1863 dans ce qui était alors le bureau présidentiel. |
