English: Private road, Stockton Down near Stockton 2 This view, looking north from Stockton Down at 194m, is of a private road, which is also a bridleway, with a plantation of conifer woods on the left and a wheatfield on the right. The road runs down to the village of Stockton, which is hidden in the valley of the river Wylye where the 2nd line of trees crosses left to the right. In the far distance the high ground on the left is Codford Hill, and that on the right is Lamb Down. |
