VERY POROUS and open-grained, allowing- circulation of air to the fractured part.ANTISEPTICS can be applied without removal. IN SHEET FORM it can be cut with scissors, or penknife, and used same as felt ; butunlike felt it does not lose its supporting- qualities by being wet. Per-spiration does not affect it. It has MANY OTHER ADVANTAGES over any material yet discovered for splints. NUMEROUS HOSPITALS, and prominent surgeons of the country are using- it. andthose who have used it most, are its best friends. TO INTRODUCE, IT.
