  • d: nominal diameter;
  • H: height of the thread;
  • P: pitch;
  • d1: major diameter of external thread (internal diameter of the tapping);
  • d2: pitch diameter (diameter at the middle of the thread);
  • d3: minor diameter of internal thread.
