Description
Deutsch: Die Dampflokomotiven der Gattung Pt 2/3 der Königlich Bayerischen Staatsbahn waren zweizylindrige Heißdampf-Tenderlokomotiven für leichte Personenzüge. Sie wurden von Krauss zwischen 1909 und 1915 hergestellt. Mit ihrer charakteristischen Bauform der weit vorgelagerten Laufachse und zwei unter dem Stehkessel liegenden Kuppelachsen haben sie sich gegen die Vergleichsbauart Pt 2/4 durchgesetzt und konnten sich nach dem Wegfall der ursprünglichen betrieblichen Anforderungen noch bis in die 1960er Jahre auf süddeutschen Nebenbahnen halten.
