Description
English: House at caziar Street (Rue de cazy), Puducherry, India. This building is a well-preserved example for the mixed Franco-Tamil building style peculiar for Puducherry. Note the combination of features of traditional Tamil architecture such as the street veranda (talvaram) and the raised plattform (tinnai) and French style elements such as the pilasters, columns with capitals and arched windows.
