English: House at 44 Vysial Street (Calve Supraya Chettiar Street), Puducherry, India. Note the combination of features of traditional Tamil and French architecture: The ground floor with its street veranda (talvaram) with wooden posts and the raised plattform (tinnai) with masonry benches for visitors is Tamil-style, while the upper floor shows French style elements like the arched windows and the pilasters.
