Description
English: The first "Puente Pueyrredón" (Pueyrredón bridge) of Buenos Aires. Designed by Pridiliano Pueyrredón, was opened to public on November 1871. It had been built in England and made of iron. The bridge was also a rotating structure to allow ships to pass. It was finally destroyed on September 23, 1884 due to a swelling of the Riachuelo.
