Description
English: Pulpit, St Michael's Church, Dunchideock The five sided timber drum shaped pulpit was erected in 1903 and it stands on a wineglass stem. It is the work of Herbert of Exeter. It is referred to as a missionary pulpit, having the carved figures of the Lord, and Saints Columba (the missionary of Scotland), Augustine (the missionary of England), Boniface (the missionary of Germany, who came from Crediton), and Petrock (the Cornish saint).
