Description One of the most famous falls in history, Pultusk fell on January 30, 1868, in Warsaw, Poland. A bright fireball and detonations preceded a massive shower of thousands of meteorites over the area. The majority of these individuals were small pea sized specimens. Pultusk is classified as an H5 ordinary chondrite. This perfectly crusted "pea" weighs 3.4 grams and comes from the Hupe collection. It was part of a jar full of individuals many of which had the letter "P" painted on them.
