Description
English: Reversable astrocyte swelling distal to the ischemic core. Confocal images were collected at a single z-plane using a 40× objective. The imaged region shows GFP-expressing astrocytes near a blood vessel. An astrocyte endfoot process initially swells and then shrinks.
