Summary edit
DescriptionPurple Cauliflower (2228175172).jpg |
Cauliflower is a member of the Brassica oleracea Botrytis group. The purple color in this variety is caused by the presence of the antioxidant group anthocyanin, which can also be found in red cabbage and red wine. Susan and I were very excited to find this at the farmer's market in Claremont. |
