Rückseite: MONETA NOVA ARGE DIO EC QVEDLINB. Umschrift, im Feld das dreifach behelmte mehrteilige Wappen, links und recht daneben geteilte Jahreszahl 16-75 und das Wardeinszeichen G-F (Gottfried Fromholtz).

Kommentar: Anna Sophia I. von Pfalz-Birkenfeld (1645-1680) war die 34. Äbtissin von Quedlinburg. Sie wurde 1619 auf Schloss Birkenfeld als die Tochter des Pfalzgrafen Georg Wilhelm von Birkenfeld und seiner Gemahlin Dorothea, Tochter des Grafen Otto von Solms-Sonnenwald, geboren. Einen Teil ihrer Jugend brachte sie bei ihrer Großmutter, der Gräfin von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen, zu und lernte dort die Äbtissin von Quedlinburg, Dorothea Sophie von Sachsen-Altenburg, kennen. Diese bestimmte Anna Sophie zu ihrer Nachfolgerin. Nach dem Tode der Dorothea Sophie wurde die Pfalzgräfin ihre Nachfolgerin. Sie versuchte, während ihrer Herrschaft die Schäden des Dreißigjährigen Krieges im Stift zu beseitigen. Ab dem Jahre 1674 machte sie von ihrem Münzrecht Gebrauch. Im Jahre ihres 30-jährigen Regierungsjubiläums entstanden verschiedene Prägungen, u.a. diese Reichstaler. Sie wurde 1680 in der Schlosskirche zu Quedlinburg beigesetzt.
