| Description |
Deutsch: Frankfurt-Rödelheim, Evangelische Pfarrkirche St. Cyriakus. Grabplatte aus rotem Sandstein an der nördlichen Außenwand des alten Chores für Caspar von Ehringshausen, solmsischer Amtmann zu Rödelheim, gestorben am 24. Februar 1573. Der Verstorbene war nach Schenck zu Schweinsberg (s. Literatur) ein Sohn des Sittich von Ehringshausen, hessischen Amtmanns zu Romrod bei Alsfeld, (Eltern: Curt von Ehringshausen und Gertrud von Trohe) und der Gesa von Weiters (Eltern: Kaspar von Weiters und Jutta von Windhausen). Aus seiner Ehe mit Margaretha von Lehrbach (gest. 25. Februar 1602 in Nesselröden) gingen 6 bekannte Kinder hervor, darunter der Sohn Helwig von Ehringshausen. Für letzteren und dessen Frau hat sich in der Kirche in Ehringshausen bei Alsfeld ein Doppel-Epitaph erhalten.
