| Description |
Girdle made from braided grass and leather. It has rows of brass button studs along the length and red, white, blue and green beads on the leather tassles. There are pyramid-shaped buttons at the end of the tassles. |

Collection of 6 items from Bechuanaland purchased from furniture dealer Henry Faulkner, of 15 Gloucester Place, Brighton, in 1913. Collections from the Bechuanaland Protectorate, now the Republic of Botswana, are the focus of the 2019 Making African Connections research project. |
