Add a one-line explanation of what this file represents
Description The Snake Creek Armament Depot in the hills just to the North of Adelaide River was originally developed for the RAN during WWII. By 1959 the bomb dump was operated by the RAAF and carried a large store of bombs and other ordinance and also stored a large quantity of gelignite for the RAAF Darwin River Quarry. Shed 24 was still standing in 2003 and has drums of an unknown material. This unit was used for storage by the uranium mine at Rum Jungle and these drums may be remnants of that system.
