English: PAPER MAKING STARTED BACK IN 1746 AND BENJAMIN WAS AN EARLY INVESTOR. THE MILL PRODUCED PAPER MONEY DURING THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR. IN 1956 THE NAME WAS CHANGED TO RIVERSIDE PAPER MILL. 3 OF THE ORIGINAL BUILDINGS REMAINS AND HAVE BEEN CONVERTED INTO OFFICES AND AN PRIVATE SCHOOL CALLED AID ACADEMY

ANOTHER SIGNIFICANT HISTORICAL SITE IN THE HISTORIC DISTRICT. PAPER MAKING WAS VERY IMPORTANT AND EMPLOYED MANY PEOPLE IN THE AREA. MANY OF THE HOMES AND FARMS IN THE DISTRICT WERE RESIDENCES OF EMPLOYEES OF THE PAPER MILLS
