Sebenarnya, Silek Lanyah secara turun temurun merupakan atraksi silat yang dikembangkan dari Silek Tuo Gunuang yang diwariskan dari masa ke masa di Desa Kubu Gadang. Silek lanyah akhirnya bereinkarnasi kembali sejak gelar baru disandang oleh Kubu Gadang. Silek lanyah di gagas oleh anak muda, dari usia tujuh hingga lima belas tahun yang dengan kesungguhan berkeinginan melestarikan tradisi. |
