Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Ponor, potrivit anexei nr. 1.5, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, cu un singur câmp de azur, în care se află un vultur, de aur, cu aripile deschise si picioarele îndepărtate. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificatiile elementelor însumate: Vulturul simbolizează un sigiliu vechi, reprezentând puterea si apărarea ce veghează asupra zonei. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
