Stema comunei Răcăşdia, potrivit anexei nr. 1.15, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat.În partea superioară, în câmp albastru, figurează trei elemente compuse din câte două spice, în spatele cărora se înalţă câte un ştiulete, totul de aur.În partea inferioară, în câmp argintiu, se află un rac roşu cu picioarele dispuse în evantai.Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Spicele şi porumbul semnifică ocupaţia tradiţională a locuitorilor, şi anume agricultura.Racul face trimitere la istoria localităţii şi dă numele comunei.Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
