English: Raasay Ferry The Caledonian Macbrayne ferry from Sconser to Raasay is useful for those sea kayakers who want to put a car on the island to give them an escape option in bad weather. This beach at Sconser is not a bad place to put in if you intend to paddle across to Raasay, but beware that the winds can howl down Loch Sligachan, making the return trip a tad harder. |
