Italiano: Maschera facciale antropomorfa - Di forma ovale tinta in nero e rosso (incrostazioni in prossimità del naso e al di sopra delle sopracciglia).

Ampia fronte e arcata sopraccigliare che attraversa tutto il volto; occhi forati a mezza luna, naso sottile e diritto; piccola bocca socchiusa e sporgente."

Maschera appartenente alla società maschile Ekpo (culto degli antenati) oppure legata all'ekong, che è invece una manifestazione a scopo di intrattenimento. Questo tipo di maschera sarebbe stato diffuso non solo fra gli Eket, ma su un'area più ampia della regione ibibio (Nigeria meridionale). Somiglianze con certe sculture degli Igbo fanno pensare a una possibile fonte comune visti i contatti commerciali fra le due popolazioni (K. Nicklin; F. Neyt). La scarsità di maschere presenti in loco già negli anni '70 rende impossibile ricostruire con attendibilità la loro storia e funzione.
