Nederlands: Aankondiging geboorte van prinses Margriet. Toespraak min.pres.prof. mr. P.S.Gerbrandy: 'Het nieuws van de slagvelden is goed nieuws de laatste tijd. De Duitsers werden in Rusland geklopt. Het beste nieuws is thans de geboorte van een prinses in het Huis van Oranje, dat nauw met het volk bleef verbonden, als nooit elders. Dit prinsenkind is een teken dat wij zullen klimmen op de toppen der overwinning. Het Huis van Oranje blijft. Het volk (ondanks de duizenden die sterven) blijft. God zegene dit nieuwe Oranjekind en brenge het nog in 1943 van Ottawa naar ons bekoorlijk Soestdijk. De Rotterdammer nodigt alle Nederlanders ter wereld nu uit op te staan en het Wilhelmus aan te horen. Gebed. Officiële gegevens van de geboorte van Prinses Margriet, petekind Ned. Koopvaardij. English: The collection of Broadcasts from Radio Oranje (Radio Orange) contains a selection of the radio broadcasts that were transmitted between 1940 and 1945. They were broadcasts created by the Dutch Government in exile in London, transmitted to encourage and inform the people of the Netherlands whilst under occupation. This digitized audio file is a so called semi-finished product. During digitization an attempt was made to get as much detail from the original source as possible. This can sometimes mean that there is still a need for post-production to get the best possible end-product for human consumption.
