Summary edit
DescriptionRailway Bridge Arches, South Cerney - geograph.org.uk - 1049518.jpg |
English: Railway Bridge Arches, South Cerney These arches carry an extension of The Bow Wow over the former Midland & South Western Junction Railway. The Bow Wow leads to a dead end lane however this grand structure was built rather than a simple level crossing. Although the railway was only ever a single track at this point, and struggled to make ends meet for most of its life, clearly the original promoters had grand ambitions since this bridge along with many of the structures on the line were built to take double track. |
