Summary
editDescriptionRailway Line to Llandudno - geograph.org.uk - 294977.jpg |
English: Railway Line to Llandudno The road and railway to Llandudno run parallel along the shore of the Conwy Estuary. A single row of houses and shops runs along the foot of an ancient cliff formed when water was at a higher level than today. The skyline is dominated by the tower of the Deganwy Castle Hotel and imposing villas constructed on the slope of the hills rising to Deganwy Castle. Engineering work is under way to replace track in poor condition on the branch-line to Llandudno. |
