The plaque on the concrete plinth reads 'This plaque was unveiled by the Mayor of Ashford, Cllr Mrs Cathy Rosson and the Director South Eastern Division, Network SouthEast, Mr Geoff Harrison-Mee, on Saturday 30th May 1992 to commemorate the 150th Anniversary of the arrival of the Railway in Ashford.' |
