| Description |
English: Railway bridge by Hook Farm seen from bridge on West Chiltington Lane The bridge in the centre of shot used to carry a minor road from West Chiltington Lane from Duncan's Farm past Hook Farm and on to Valewood Lane. Now it is not "dedicated to the public save as a footpath". Presumably this means that when neglect causes it to decay to the point where the repair work is more expensive than demolition Network Rail will tear it down and erect a fabricated metal replacement which can only carry foot traffic. |
