Palermo, ITA La Biennale di Venezia 10. Mostra Internazionale di Architettura Città-Porto Palazzo Forcella De Seta

  1. City-Port is the program of the section of the 10th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia which takes place in Palermo within the project Sensi Contemporanei with the partecipation of the Regione Sicilia. The exhibition concerns the issues of the relation between port and city which are at present particularly complex and strategic for a correct development of the urban structure and the competitive grown of port wharfs.
This exhibition (Maps for new urban routes) portrays the general themes of the city-port section and the results of the transformations of port areas in 16 sea front cities in all continents. Part of the exhibition is dedicated to port cities in Spain, with the co-ordination of Puertos del Estado.
