| Description |
English: Reclaimed land, Maristow. The area on the right of the path is on the inside of a meander of the Tavy; the path follows a levee-like embankment, close to the water's edge, that is higher than the land behind it. Some of the enclosed area looks extremely marshy, but that is hardly surprising after such wet weather. The raised path is followed by the Tamar Valley Discovery Trail.
In the background is Whittacliffe Wood, on the far side of the river; see 1045116, 1044620 and 84218. |
