English: Recreated 'Crannóg' at Millstreet Country Park I suppose that Millstreet Country Park should be described as a theme park, its theme being the wildlife, archeology and history of the area. It must be unique in that its entrance is around 390M up a mountain. After you enter, you must drive around 2KM and drop about 180M to reach the visitor centre. The photo shows a recreated crannóg, a prehistoric dwelling on an artificial island, just one of the delights of this wonderful place. |
