English: This depicts the results of an affine regression upon the inter-arrival times of off-season Atlantic hurricanes using the data contained in the table presented withinList_of_off-season_Atlantic_hurricanes#Chronology. It shows the mean inter-arrival time in years as a solid line, and the 2 standard error confidence intervals. This line was obtained by affine regression of the interarrival times between these hurricanes. Also shown at the arrivals of the hurricanes themselves by year, and their Saffir-Simpson rating, sometimes estimated from historical information. In all cases, the first date was used as the time of the storm, since many storms span several days. The data was repaired in two ways. First, row 13 has a date of "December 72" which was interpreted to be "December 27". Second, row 37 was elided, since in that case there are two hurricanes reported on the same day.
