Summary edit

Description
English: Red House, Bexleyheath. Red House was the home of William Morris, artist, craftsman and philosopher. The house was commissioned by Morris in 1859 and designed by Philip Webb. The house and garden were designed to be 'all of a piece' so that the views inside and outside are very pleasingly complementary. The property was acquired by the National Trust in 2003.
