Description
Galego: "O refaixo ou zagal é unha prenda interior feminina, de abrigo, que se coloca por debaixo da saia ou da vasquiña pero que tamén pode asomar parcialmente ao exterior.

Nesta prenda do museo, a parte superior cínguese ao corpo mediante unha tea de tafetán de algodón branco con raias azuis, e átase por atrás con fitas. A parte interior está feita con pano de la abatanada, en cores vermella e laranxa, co bordo de abaixo adornado cunha franxa delimitada por dúas liñas horizontais entre as que vai un debuxo en zigzag, realizado todo con fita de tapiceiro.

Este refaixo parece ser o resultado da reutilización de varias teas xa que a parte superior de algodón é bastante mais recente que a de la; aínda así, podería datarse arredor de principios do século XX.

É moi probable que dun uso cotiá acabase pasando a ser utilizado en actividades teatrais ou festivas."
