English: Reflections on the Kennet River: Woolhampton. A view of the Kennet River on the footbridge over the confluence of the river and the Kennet and Avon Canal, looking south. The confluence is in the north west corner of the square, on the south east of the lock. As a result of the position of the confluence, there are often strong currents here and barges are cautioned accordingly. |
