English: F-16C Block 30 A pair of F-16 Fighting Falcons from Homestead Air Reserve Base, Fla., break off after receiving fuel from a KC-135 Stratotanker from the Transit Center at Manas, Kyrgyzstan, over the skies of Afghanistan Dec. 14, 2013. F-16s with two external fuel tanks can carry approximately 1,800 gallons of fuel and the KC-135 is capable of delivering about 1,000 gallons of fuel per minute. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt.
