Français : Selon l'inscription, ce relief d'époque romaine représente le dieu Apollon accompagné de sa sœur Artémis. Les différents attributs astraux : le croissant, la torche, le fouet et le taureau à tête radiée les rapprochent de la figuration d'Hélios et Séléné. Le palmier, arbre de vie, a une forte signification symbolique : celle de la grande déesse primitive, dont la représentation entre deux animaux affrontés a souvent été déclinée dans la glyptique, les ivoires et la sculpture.
