English: Treasury of the Basilica of Our Lady, Maastricht, the Netherlands. Department of reliquaries. So-called Cingula or Girdle of Saint Mary, consisting of 4 different fabrics from different periods. Once one of the most important relics of the church, first mentioned in 1286. The surviving oblong-shaped reliquary (14th c.) was originally held by two silver angels (melted down in 1795) and is now integrated in a 19th c. reliquary.
