Summary edit
DescriptionRemains of Stoke Works Station - geograph.org.uk - 1638223.jpg |
English: Remains of Stoke Works Station Southwest of Bromsgrove, and south of Stoke Heath and Stoke Prior was once a passenger station. In this photo can be seen the remains of 'To Bromsgrove' platform. The line has been single-track for many years, serving cross-country trains from Birmingham to Droitwich and Worcester via Bromsgrove.
Beyond the signal in distance is the point where the faster line south (double-track), that misses out Worcester altogether, leaves this route. |
