| Description | As I move out of Toronto's Chinatown, I spotted this eatery with a bright yellow lighted signboard. And yes, this is a Vietnamese restaurant and not a Chinese one and suprisingly had more customers inside than the Chinese one. I eventually ate in a Vietnamese restaurant a few doors down which had a few Filipino customers inside. The escargot there was rubbery and I didn't like it one bit! But that's another story. This sign reminded me of the yello-red Kodak photo stores of the 1990s (RIP Kodak) here in Dubai and other places in the UAE. (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015) |
