English: A small team of soldiers and contractors visited D Company, 3rd Bn., 8th Cav. Regt., 3rd Advise and Assist Bde., 1st Cav. Div., March 29, to provide AAFES and finance services to the remotely located unit. Besides loading and withdrawing money from Eagle Cash Cards, the finance team was also able to open Safe Deposit Program accounts for the soldiers there. The highlight of the visit, however was the cases of snacks, toiletries, magazines and other luxuries the AAFES crew brought that are unavailable to the soldiers. The team makes monthly trips to meet the needs of soldiers at remote locations. |
